About this work

This image reads like a visual hard drive of humanity.
Layer upon layer, memories, experiences, and impressions accumulate – some clearly accessible, others fragmented, overwritten, or existing only as traces. Like data, they are stored, compressed, partially deleted, but never completely meaningless.

The circular structure is reminiscent of rotating memory structures: a constant access to the past, a continuous reorganization. Recurring shapes represent memories that can be recalled again and again, while pale and dissolved fragments symbolize those that exist only in the background – not visible, but influential.

The work becomes a metaphor for the human brain as a storage organ: not a static archive, but a dynamic system. Everything that has ever been stored shapes the structure of the whole. The image does not show individual data points, but the sum of all accesses – an abstract self-portrait made of stored time.
