Physical Editions

• What is the physical print?

  The physical print is a limited-edition manifestation of the digital original. Each print is numbered, signed, and clearly referenced to its corresponding NFT — via QR code or transaction reference. It is not a reproduction, but a deliberate physical expression of the digital work. No further digital editions of the same work are issued.

• How many physical editions exist?

  The number of physical prints per work is strictly limited. No additional NFTs or prints are produced after the edition is set. Each piece is numbered — for example, 1/3, 2/3, 3/3.

• Are the print and the NFT identical?

  Not necessarily. The NFT is the digital original — permanent and immutable. The print is a physical interpretation of that work. Both are linked, but they are distinct objects representing the same work in different forms.

• Can NFT holders receive the physical print?

  Yes. Holding the NFT entitles you to the corresponding limited physical edition. Where prints are sold separately, the connection to the NFT is clearly documented in the edition description.

• How are the prints produced?

  All prints are produced at a specialist fine art printing studio near Munich (Pullach). Each work is printed on high-quality fine art paper and mounted on aluminium Dibond. Framing and museum glass are available on request. Colours are calibrated through an individual proofing process to achieve the most accurate and natural result possible.

• What are physical NFTs?

  Physical NFTs bring together the tactile value of a collectible object and the transparency of the blockchain. Each physical NFT represents a unique, tangible work — and simultaneously serves as a digital certificate of authenticity, a record of ownership, and a transferable asset.

  For collectors, this means:

  • Verifiable provenance: The history and origin of a work are permanently recorded on the blockchain.
  • Authenticity & ownership: Counterfeit protection through digital certificates, traceable at any time.
  • Digital extension: Physical NFTs may offer access to exclusive collector communities or additional digital content.
• How does the Physical First approach work?

  You acquire the physical artwork first. It is delivered with a certificate of authenticity featuring a QR code linked to its corresponding NFT. Once you have received the work, you scan the QR code — or follow a link provided at the time of purchase — to claim the NFT. Ownership and authenticity are then confirmed and permanently recorded on the blockchain.

• Can I gift or resell the print?

  Yes. The print can be passed on or sold like any physical artwork. The NFT remains the digital original — its ownership documents the digital provenance of the work. Both NFT and print retain their separate but connected significance regardless of who holds them.
