NFTs and digital token

Where's the value? In the printed image or in the digital token?

The artist decides whether the „Digital“ or the „Physical First Ansatz“ is chosen for a work of art.

At the „Digital First Ansatz“ the digital work is the original. The physical print is a tangible version of that original. It primarily exists in a permanent, definite form, independent of any physical medium. Often, owners of a digital original can get a (limited) number of physical interpretations of the work. Kind of like a manifestation or an interpretation. Both works are connected but exist independently of each other.

At the „Physical First Ansatz“ the value lies in the physical work. On top of that, with a certificate of authenticity stored as a token on the blockchain, ownership and authenticity can be easier to prove. This approach is explained in a bit more detail below.

How can you buy digital works?

Digital works (NFTs) can be purchased via Manifold, secondary markets such as Opensea, or platforms such as fxhash. The links can be found in the detailed overviews of the individual editions. I am happy to assist you in this process and provide an assessment of what should be considered. In general, most editions can be purchased by credit card via the payment provider Crossmint. Crossmint generates an internal wallet where the NFT is visible and accessible. From there, it can be transferred to your own wallet at any time (free of charge). Physical editions

What is physical printing?

Physical pressure is a limited manifestation of the digital original. Each print is numbered, signed, and clearly references the NFT (e.g., via QR code or TX reference). It represents no copybut rather a conscious physical manifestation of the digital work. No further digital editions of this work will be published.

How are the images printed?

The images are printed as fine art prints on high-quality fine art paper in a print workshop near Munich (Pullach) and laminated onto aluminum Dibond backing material. Framing and museum-quality glass glazing can also be provided by this workshop on request. The colors are adjusted through individual consultation and test printing to achieve the most natural color experience possible.
What are physical NFTs?
Physical NFTs combine the best of both worlds: the value of a real collectible with the security and transparency of blockchain.
Each physical NFT represents a unique object—such as a work of art, design object, or collectible—and also serves as a digital proof of authenticity, certificate of ownership, and means of transfer.

For collectors, this means:

Verifiable provenance: The origin and history of an object are permanently documented on the blockchain.

Authenticity & Ownership: Forgery protection through digital certificates, traceable at any time.

Digital expansion: Many physical NFTs offer additional digital content, access to exclusive collector communities, or participation in events.

Physical NFTs open up new ways to not only own art and collectibles, but also to experience them—in both the analog and digital worlds.
How does the Physical First approach work?

As a buyer, you first purchase the physical artwork. It comes with a certificate of authenticity featuring a QR code that is linked to a digital NFT. After receiving the image, you scan the QR code to claim the NFT, which records and confirms the proof of ownership and authenticity on the blockchain. Alternatively, after purchase, you will also receive a link through which you can claim the NFT.
Can I give the print away or resell it?

Installations

How can installations be purchased?

The installations are sketches (source code in Processing or p5js) that run continuously and constantly generate new, unique animations. Each run creates a new, unique work that is never repeated identically. The color combinations and variations are virtually endless, creating a lively, ever-changing experience. The installations are technically demanding. To meet these demands, I work with experienced event technicians. Installations (sketches) can be made available on a commission basis and can also be interactive on request.

Shipping

How does shipping work?

I attach great importance to the safe and professional delivery of fine art works—whether within Germany, across Europe, or internationally.

Shipping within Germany

Artworks are carefully packaged within Germany and usually shipped by a specialized art courier or insured shipping service (e.g., DHL, UPS, GO! Express). We select the optimal shipping method depending on the size and value of the artwork. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days.

Shipping within the EU

I also use insured shipping methods exclusively for shipments within the European Union. All shipments are carefully packaged and protected against temperature fluctuations and impact. Delivery usually takes 5–10 business days. There are no customs formalities within the EU.

International shipping

For worldwide shipping, I work with experienced art logistics specialists who specialize in transporting high-value works of art. They take care of secure packaging, complete customs paperwork, and seamless shipment tracking. Delivery times can vary between 7 and 21 business days, depending on the destination country. All shipments are fully insured.

Packaging & Insurance

Each work of art is packaged individually, professionally, and in an environmentally conscious manner. Naturally, all shipments are fully insured against loss and damage.

Personal delivery & pickup

Upon request, personal delivery within the Munich area or pickup is also possible.
What if I am not satisfied with a picture?

I want my artworks not only to decorate rooms, but also to bring joy. Each piece is created with great care, dedication, and individual artistic freedom.

Since this is a matter of unique items is fundamentally no legal right to return or exchangeNevertheless, a trusting relationship with my buyers is very important to me. That is why I offer Kulanz the following options:

Sollten sie mit dem erworbenen Werk nicht zufrieden sein, können sie es innerhalb von 14 Tagen gegen ein anderes, verfügbares Werk aus meinem Bestand tauschen. Voraussetzung ist, dass sich das Werk im einwandfreien Zustand befindet.

Partial refund

If an exchange is not possible, I offer a refund in certain cases. partial refund The amount depends on the individual case and is agreed upon jointly.

How it works

Please contact me within 14 days of receiving the work, preferably by email. Please state the reason for your dissatisfaction, ideally with a photo if it concerns damage or deviations. I will get back to you as soon as possible to find a fair solution.

Note:

Please note that slight color variations between the screen display and the original work are due to technical reasons and do not constitute a defect. These are also part of the uniqueness of handmade art.
