Where does the value reside — in the printed work or the digital token?

The artist determines whether a work follows a Digital First or a Physical First approach.
In the Digital First approach, the digital work is the original. It exists permanently, uniquely, and independently of any physical medium. Owners of a digital original may have access to a limited number of physical manifestations of that work. The print is a bound expression of the original — both are connected, yet exist independently of each other.
In the Physical First approach, the value resides in the physical work. An accompanying certificate of authenticity, stored as a token on the blockchain, provides a clear and permanent record of ownership and provenance.
What am I acquiring when I purchase an NFT?
How can digital works be acquired?

Digital works (NFTs) are available via Manifold, secondary markets such as OpenSea, or platforms like fxhash. Links to each edition are provided on the individual work pages. We are happy to guide you through the process and advise on what to consider.
Most editions can be purchased by credit card through Crossmint, which creates an internal wallet where the NFT is immediately accessible. It can be transferred to your own wallet at any time at no cost. For a step-by-step guide, refer to the Crossmint documentation.
Where and how is a digital work stored?

Digital originals are stored on Arweave — a decentralised, permanent storage network designed to preserve data for over 200 years. Unlike traditional cloud hosting, Arweave ensures that a work remains accessible regardless of any single platform or service provider.
What happens if NFT and print are owned separately?

NFT and print are independent of each other, but permanently linked. The NFT is the digital original; the print is its physical manifestation. Owning both provides the complete experience — digital and physical. Owning either one alone still allows the connection to the other to be clearly traced and verified.

Physical Editions

What is the physical print?

The physical print is a limited-edition manifestation of the digital original. Each print is numbered, signed, and clearly referenced to its corresponding NFT — via QR code or transaction reference. It is not a reproduction, but a deliberate physical expression of the digital work. No further digital editions of the same work are issued.

How are the prints produced?

All prints are produced at a specialist fine art printing studio near Munich (Pullach). Each work is printed on high-quality fine art paper and mounted on aluminium Dibond. Framing and museum glass are available on request. Colours are calibrated through an individual proofing process to achieve the most accurate and natural result possible.
What are physical NFTs?
Physical NFTs bring together the tactile value of a collectible object and the transparency of the blockchain. Each physical NFT represents a unique, tangible work — and simultaneously serves as a digital certificate of authenticity, a record of ownership, and a transferable asset.
For collectors, this means:
Verifiable provenance: The history and origin of a work are permanently recorded on the blockchain.
Authenticity & ownership: Counterfeit protection through digital certificates, traceable at any time.
Digital extension: Physical NFTs may offer access to exclusive collector communities or additional digital content.
How does the Physical First approach work?

You acquire the physical artwork first. It is delivered with a certificate of authenticity featuring a QR code linked to its corresponding NFT. Once you have received the work, you scan the QR code — or follow a link provided at the time of purchase — to claim the NFT. Ownership and authenticity are then confirmed and permanently recorded on the blockchain.
Can I gift or resell the print?

Yes. The print can be passed on or sold like any physical artwork. The NFT remains the digital original — its ownership documents the digital provenance of the work. Both NFT and print retain their separate but connected significance regardless of who holds them.

Installations

How can installations be acquired?

Installations are generative systems — written in Processing or p5.js — that run continuously, producing unique, never-repeating outputs. Each execution generates a new work; no two moments are ever identical. The variation in form, colour, and composition is effectively infinite, creating a living, ever-evolving presence in space.
Given their technical complexity, installations are realised in collaboration with experienced AV and event technology specialists. They are available on a commission basis and can be developed as interactive works tailored to a specific space or context.

Shipping & Returns

How is shipping handled?

All works are packed and shipped with the highest care. Depending on the size and value of the piece, we use specialised art couriers or insured carriers such as DHL, UPS, or GO! Express.
Germany: Delivery within 3–7 business days.
European Union: Fully insured, temperature- and impact-protected shipping. Delivery within 5–10 business days. No customs formalities within the EU.
International: We work with experienced art logistics specialists who handle secure packaging, customs documentation, and end-to-end tracking. Delivery times vary between 7 and 21 business days depending on the destination. All shipments are fully insured.
Local delivery & collection: Personal delivery within the Munich area and studio pick-up are available on request.
What if I am not satisfied with a work?

Each work is produced with great care and as a unique edition. As such, there is no statutory right of return. That said, a trustworthy relationship with collectors is important to us, and we offer the following on a goodwill basis:
Exchange: If you are not satisfied, you may exchange the work within 14 days of receipt for another available work of equivalent value, provided it is returned in perfect condition.
Partial refund: Where an exchange is not suitable, a partial refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
To initiate either option, please contact us by email within 14 days, including a brief description of the issue and, where relevant, photographs. We will respond promptly and work towards a fair resolution.
Please note that minor colour variations between screen and print are inherent to the fine art printing process and do not constitute a defect.
